St Mary's PTA

The St Mary’s PTA is an active and valued part of our school community. Through a wide variety of events such as the annual Summer Fair, Parent and Teacher Netball Matches, Engineering Workshops and Pop-up Shops, as well as providing refreshments at school events, the PTA brings families together and strengthens our school community. Their fundraising efforts help to provide valuable resources and enrichment opportunities that enhance the experiences of all our children.

School Summer Fair

The highlight of the year is always the school Summer Fair. Stalls are held in the playground selling a variety of items including books, sweets, ice cream, drinks and snacks. There is a range of entertainment on offer, fairground rides, a DJ and food trucks - something for everyone!

Parish Christmas Fair and Christmas Activities

The PTA play an active part in the Parish Christmas Fair and arrange for a special visitor from the North Pole to meet all the children in school too!

School Discos

The PTA organise school discos in the Parish Centre, where children can dance, play party games and have fun with their friends.

Wreath Making Workshop

Always a popular festive favourite, the Wreath Making Workshop is a wonderful evening where parents/carers can design and make their own wreaths.

The Animal Man

The Animal Man is always a popular visitor at St Mary’s. As well as learning fascinating facts about different animals, the children have the unique opportunity to meet them up close, helping to bring learning to life and inspire a love of the natural world.

Film Club

Children enjoy the opportunity to watch a movie with friends after school in a welcoming and inclusive environment, helping to build friendships, confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
